I’m a physical therapist with 14 years of experience, and my journey in this field has been both fulfilling and transformative. I graduated from the University of St. Augustine, a program founded by the pioneering manual therapy expert, Stanley Paris. It was there that I developed a strong foundation in manual therapy techniques that have become essential in my practice.
In 2019, I recognized a significant gap in the way physical therapists were addressing the needs of fitness athletes, particularly those who are passionate about CrossFit. This realization led me to take a continuing education course called Clinical Management of the Fitness Athlete through the Institute of Clinical Excellence. This course was a turning point in my career, equipping me with the skills to become a true movement specialist and an advocate for athletes who often face discouragement from other medical professionals.
My own passion for CrossFit drives my practice. I work out daily, and I’ve witnessed firsthand the profound health benefits and life changes that this fitness journey brings—not just for me, but also for my patients. I strive to empower individuals to continue their athletic pursuits and help them understand that they can achieve their goals without sacrificing their well-being. It’s incredibly rewarding to guide them through their recovery while fostering a mindset of strength and resilience.
